Analysis of microbial dynamics in the soybean root-associated environments from community to single-cell levels

Updated: Jul 10, 2024

Summary

Combining single-cell genomics and 16S rRNA sequencing has made it possible to predict what functions each microorganism has in a complex soil microbiome. In this study, the technique was used to understand the microorganisms that live around soybean roots and help plants grow.
